Alt Press Magazine has been absolutely vital to our Musician Coalition campaign this fall. They've launched some pretty spectacular coverage of secret acoustic shows that artists have been performing on our behalf all across the country. The Christian metalcore band, August Burns Red have been longtime supporters of Invisible Children. Whether it’s donating instruments to auction off our a shout out from stage, August Burns Red has be a vital support system. One of our most recent supporters, Brett Dennen caught a screening of one of our films and soon after took it upon himself to donate all of his CD sales to us while on tour this year. Longtime supporters Circa Survive have hit the ground running. While on tour with our artist liaisons, Circa produced freebies & goodies for their fundraising team. Their team is going to be the one to beat. It's best that you join them before they blow the others out of the water.

In support of the fundraising campaign, part two of Daughtry’s ‘Making The Album’ video is exclusive live on The Musician Coalition’s homepage. The band has announced that everyone that makes a donation before December 14th (in any amount) will automatically be entered to win VIP MEET AND GREET passes to a show in their area. There also will be one elite winner of a “Secret Super Ultra Mega Prize” (Kenny’s exact words people) that will be announced soon.

David Archuleta quickly became an office favorite this past year when he played with Landon Pigg at our Nashville 25: Breaking the Slience event. Denison Witmer can easily be named Invisible Children's first Artist Ambassador. Literally from the beginning, Denison has supported us by writing a song about Saint Francis Assisi for the first update video after The Rough Cut. DJ White Shadow was amped to join up with The Musician Coalition. It's not a normal day in the office if Frighten Rabbit hasn't come through the speakers. This summer, Invisible Children and frontman Scott Hutchison Frightened Rabbit teamed up to film Hutchison's cover of Death Cab's "Different Names for the Same Things" for our Silver Series at SXSW. Let's just say there is a deep mutual love affair between Hey Monday and Invisible Children. We first met Hey Monday on a Fall Out Boy tour and quickly became friends. We've toured with them before and can't wait to again. They've toured with our other Artist Ambassador and Musician Coalition participant All Time Low. Do we sense a battle for the #1 spot? Let's hope so.

Invisible Children was privledged to have the hauntingly beautiful Brooklyn band Holy Spirits film their single "Tongues" for the Silver Series at SXSW 2011. Naturally, they were also the perfect fit for The Musician Coalition. Holy Spirits' performance was all-inclusive and communal. Jeff Jenkins has been an Invisible Children supporter and contact for quite some time now. In college, Invisible Children was actually the charity of choice for his fraternity. Jeff is also a long time friend of current roadie, Cassidy Myers. This Grammy nominated musician and artist is from Arkon, Ohio. Joseph Arthur is truly one of a kind. We had the pleasure of working with Kevin Devine at SXSW 2011 when he recorded his newest single "Between the Concrete and Clouds" for our Silver Series video campaign. Invisible Children & The Voice Project are honored to have his support again. Landon Pigg, a Nashville folk artist, is best known for his role in the Drew Barrymore movie “Whip It.” Invisible Children was honored to have Landon play for us at our 25 event in Nashville alongside David Archuleta. Saves the Day frontman Chris Conley first teamed up with Invisible Children when he played our Troubadour benefit show in 2009. Locking in their commitment to The Musician Coalition resulted in a few victory laps around the office. No surprise that they were one of the first bands to hit their fundraising goal. But don't let that stop you- keep donating if you love 'em.

This Brooklyn band redefines the vintage sounds of revivalist folk. They might have just as well been plucked out of the deep South. With an upright bass, banjo and a light sheen of dust across their faces- they’re as real as it gets, as proven on their set at our SXSW Silver Series. Performing at our CMJ show put SFR above and beyond their fundraising goal.

Frontman of the bliss pop outfit Sun Airway, Jon Barthmus, performed a Bjork cover in an empty pool at our SXSW Silver Series. How much better could it get? You joining their team. That's how.

Switchfoot was one of the first bands ever involved in our cause. Jon Foreman has played for the roadies countless times, and even played our Troubadour benefit in 2009. This year, Switchfoot had us come out to their annual Bro-Am, a benefit co-hosted by Hurley. Who could say no to joining their team and helping them reach their goal of $2,000? I wouldn't if I were you.

This is the first time Invisible Children and Tiago Iorc have partnered together. The Brazilian-born, internationally-raised singer/songwriter has a naturally perfect voice and humble nature that just enchants every listener. Tiago could sing a calculus textbook and still win Grammy's. You really, really do want to join his team. Promise. 

There for Tomorrow is an Orlando-based band ready and eager to fundraise for The Musician Coaltion. The group credits their influenced to bands like Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, Third Eye Blind, and The Hives. Sound like your cup of tea? Then join their team now.

Joining The Musician Coalition is The Blackout's first event in support of Invisible Children and we're stoked to have them on board. They crushed their fundraising goal in a week by simply asking friends on their European tour guest list to donate.

The Damned Things is a heavy metal supergroup consisting of Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano of Anthrax, and Keith Buckley and Josh Newton of Every Time I Die. What else is there to say? Their team is going to beast the competition.

The Parlotones is one of the biggest bands to come out of South Africa. Not only do they pump out award-winning music, but they've also created a wine label that releases a new boutique wine with each album. Invisible Children & The Voice Project are elated for The Parlotones to partner with The Musician Coalition. Help them fundraise for The Protection Plan by joining their team and donating now.

We first toured with Plain White T’s on a Fall Out Boy tour. They’ve since contributed to our campaigns online, and played our Chicago 25 event. They want you to get signed up for their team and help them raise $1,500 to fund The Protection Plan.

As if the multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and producer Bryce Avary really had time to spare. Sleep apparently doesn't matter to Bryce and he signed up his solo project The Rocket Summer anyway. Sign up for his team right now, help him reach his goal and let the man catch some shut eye. The Summer Set have been supporters of Invisible Children since Warped tour of 2010 when they contributed to our text-to-donate campaign, our Fender guitar auction and even donated drumheads/drumsticks for us to auction off. We had the pleasure to met up with them again on the All Time Low tour in the spring of 2011. We're excited to see how much their fans can raise through The Musician Coalition.

Thrice. Easily the most eager band we have worked with for The Musician Coalition. While on tour, Front man Dustin Kensrue played private sets for fans almost every night after their show. They have already rasied over $22,000 and aiming to hit 25K soon. You don't want to miss out on helping them! They are more than appreciative to fans.

Walk the Moon is an indie-rock band based in the beautiful city of Cincinnati, OH. Listen to their body entrancing hit "Anna Sun" as you sign up for their fundraising team. Great life choice.
